| Linda Joyce Glazer is passionate about fun. With over 20 years experience as a playshop seminar leader, speaker and consultant, Linda teaches people how to let go of their seriousness and fully embrace their lives with laughter, genuine self-expression and playfulness. Her credentials include a Bachelor’s degree in - what else? Leisure Studies from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, a Masters degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Lesley University, and most recently - her proudest accomplishment yet - certification as a laughter yoga leader. In addition to her formal training, Linda has studied meditation, acting, the healing arts and taken courses from the Center for Nonviolent Communication, which has increased her capacity to communicate with individuals on a wide variety of paths. Her business, The Playful Path, reflects her love of life and laughter. Linda believes that playfulness is a vital quality that sustains people in life. Through team-building and communication exercises, artwork and movement, clients learn to release their fears and connect with other in a supportive community. Classes boost self-esteem, generate positive attitudes and create balance and joy. According to Linda, “I believe joy is our essence but sometimes we get so caught up in our lives we lose touch with what is really important. I see myself as a guide, empowering others to relax and be themselves, seeing the folly and futility of taking themselves too seriously. The wonderful thing is anybody can change direction at any time but a step is required in some direction. In the words of Will Rogers, 'Even if you’re on the right road, you’ll get run over if you just sit there.' ” |
